This is the final report for AE 482, Architectural Engineering senior thesis capstone project. Contained in this report are the mechanical depth analysis and results for the American Swedish Institute as well as the structural and architectural breadths. The two proposed alternatives for the existing mechanical system are a variable air volume system and chilled beam in combination with a dedicated outdoor air unit. Also included in the report are two breadth studies, architectural and structural, which were completed for the walkway connecting the mansion to the addition. |
